Aid OMINANCE APPROVING THE AIM, X&TION OF CERTAIN

TO THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
The Council of the City of San Rafael do ordain as follows:
ITHE AS, on the 16th day of August, 1951, the Council of the City of
San Rafael did pass and adopt Resolution No. 1519 giving notice of the proposal
to annex certain uninhabited territory to the City of San Rafael, said territory
being therein designated as "FAIR HILLS Ai:LiE301, said Resolution describing the
boundaries of the territory proposed to be annexed; and
JUEREAS, said Resolution No, 1519 did contain a notice of the day, hour
and place when and where the Council of the City would hear protests made by
any person owning real property within the territory proposed to be annexed, the
time of said hearing being not less than fifteen nor more than fifty days from
the date of passage of said Resolution; and
'^TEAS, on the lith day of October, 1951, at the hour of 8:00 P.1d., in
the Council Chambers in the City Hall of the City of San Rafael, County of iArin,
State of California, said time and place being the day, hour and place fixed in
said Resolution No. 1519 for hearing protests to the said annexation, the said
City Council did hear and pass upon all protests made to the proposed annexation
and did determine that,protests had not been made by the owners of one-half of
the value of the territory proposed to be annexed as shown by the last equalized
assessment roll, nor by public and private owners of one-half of the value of the
territory proposed to be annexed as determined by said legislative body; and
:TREAS., said territory is conti5-uous to the City of San Rafael, and is
uninhabited territory in the County of Marin;
NOW, TH E=EFORE, the said Council of the City of San Rafael does hereby
approve the annexation of the territory hereinafter described to the City of
San Rafael, and does hereby further ordain that the said territory be and is
hereby annexed to the City of San Rafael.
That said territory, the annexation of which to the City of San Rafael
is herein approved, is all that territory situate in the County of Yliarin, State
of California, more particularly described as follows.
REGI=vaq-ING at the most Easterly corner of that certain 21.16
acre parcel called Parcel One as described in that certain
deed from Marin Realty Associates, a Co --Partnership, to ?:,sarin
Title Guaranty Co., by Deed recorded August 7, 1946 in Liber

524 of Official Records, at page 347, Marin County Records;

conveyed to Darin Title Guaranty Co., North 560 321 ;lest
330.10 feet; thence North 560 021 lest 535.10 feet thence
North 69° 431 3011 West 676.74 feet to a point; thence north
830 39' West 1005.30 feet thence Smith 340 471 best 100 feet,
thence Northerly in a straight line 65.65 feet to the South-
easterly corner of the Marin Municipal Nater Tank lot as
described by; deed recorded Islay 12, 1948 in Liber 588 of
Official Records, at page 154, running thence along said
tank lot north 16° 53t 'lest 56.889 to a point in the Northerly
boundary line of the lands conveyed to Marin Title Guaranty
Company, above referred to, rum-dng thence along said line

This ordinance shall_ be published once in full before its final passage in the
INDEPENDENT-JOURNhL1 a daily newspaper of general circulation, printed, pub-
lished and circulated in said city, and shall be in full force and effect
thirty (30) days from and after its final passage.,,--
