Tonight’s Request
Adopt a resolution to:
1.Authorize Bolt Mobility, LLC to operate shared e-bikes within the
City of San Rafael as a part of a 3-year long e-bike share pilot
program;
2.Find that the e-bike program is Categorically Exempt from CEQA
under Section 15301(c); and
3.Authorize the City Manager to execute a Coordination Agreement
and other documents to implement the e-bike share pilot program.

Coordination Agreement

(SCTA and TAM) as it relates to coordination,
permitting, data sharing, notices, site plans,
parking, operation, maintenance, insurance,
indemnification, etc.

Coordination Agreement Specifics
Pilot program costs (equipment, software, & service) borne by SCTA
& TAM
Technical Advisory Working Group to oversee program development
City to review & approve all station locations within right-of-way
All bikes to be parked in stations only
Bolt Mobility will operate a 24/7 customer service call center
