CONSIDERATION OF RESOLUTION APPROVING AN IMPLEMENTATION PLAN FOR THE
CENTRAL SAN RAFAEL REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA (RA) —
FILE R-140 XIX x (SRCC) 140
Chairman Boro declared the public hearing opened.
Economic Development Director Nancy Mackle explained this is a five-year Implementation Plan for the
Redevelopment Agency (2001-2005), and is similar to the previous five-year plan. She indicated it
details the housing expenditures projections and Agency funds to be spent on projects such as
drainage, sidewalks, parking structure and downtown revitalization projects. She stated it also
discusses some of the funds that have been or will be spent during this five-year period on school
improvements, childcare improvements and Recreation Center improvements.

Indicating this has not changed much from the prior Plan, Ms. Mackle explained that until another round
of bonds are issued, no new projects would be added. This, she stated, assumes no new bonds over
the next five years; however, the Plan will once again be amended when and if another round of funding
is initiated.
There being no comment from the audience, Chairman Boro closed the public hearing
Member Phillips moved and Member Miller seconded, to adopt the Resolution.
