Transportation Transportation emissions down 18% due to improvements in fuel efficiency and alternatively-fueled cars. Vehicle miles traveled up 3% since 2005. Waste & Water Landfilled waste hit a low in 2011 but has since gone up. Waste disposal declined 6% between 2018 and 2019. Waste emissions are 29% below 2005 levels. Per capita water use has declined 19% since 2005. Emissions from energy used to pump, treat and convey water have declined 96%. 2019-2021 PRIORITIES Update of the first two year workplan •19 strategies •16 complete or in- progress •3 not started 8 Priority Areas 1.
