THIS AMENDMENT TO TASK ORDER No. 13 is entered into orl e20
between the City of San Rafael, a municipal corporation ("City"), and BKF En ineers, ("Consultant").
RECITALS
A. The City and Consultant have entered into a Master Consultant Services Agreement
("Agreement") dated December 12, 2019 under which Consultant has agreed to perforin professional
Surveying + Utilities services for the City.
B. Pursuant to the Agreement, on June 15, 2021, the City and Consultant entered into "Task
Order No. 13" under which Consultant agreed to perform Civil services in connection with City's Schoen
Park Roadway Improvements project, now called the Spinnaker Point Parking Modifications project (City
Project No. 11363) (the "Project"), as specified in Exhibit A attached to and included in Task Order No.
13, for a total not to exceed $5,800.
C. City now requires geotechnical engineering services for the Project, and the Consultant is
willing to provide such services.
NOW, THEREFORE, City and Consultant agree to amend Task Order No. 13 as follows:
AGREEMENT TO AMEND TASK ORDER NO. 13
1. Section 1 of Task Order No. 13, entitled "Scope of Services," is hereby amended to include the
additional services set forth in Consultant's proposal dated August 9, 2021, attached to this Amendment to
Task Order No. 13 as Exhibit A and incorporated herein by reference.
2. Section 2 of Task Order No. 13, entitled "Date of completion; Work hours estimate; Cost estimate
and budget; Fee schedule" is hereby amended to include the additional services, work hours estimate, cost
estimate and budget set forth in Consultant's proposal dated August 9, 2021, attached to this Amendment
to Task Order No. 13 as Exhibit A, for an amount of $19,000, changing the total not to exceed to $24,800.
3. Except as specifically amended herein, all of the other provisions, terms and obligations of Task
Order No. 13 dated June 15, 2021 shall remain valid and shall be in full force.

Prepare Construction Documents (Drawings,

Canal Street to accommodate additional on -
street parking based on the Schoen Parking
Modifications Conceptual Layout exhibit
provided by the City on August 3, 2021 and
as discussed during an August 6, 2021
meeting with City staff. Project components
will include roadway widening, installation
of a new pedestrian sidewalk, striping of
new diagonal parking stalls on both north
side and south side of Canal Street,
bioretention area and landscape strip, tree
removal and potential tree replacement, and
three (3) new street lights. Landscaping
improvements (planting and irrigation) will
be generally shown and described on plan;
no stand -along planting plan or irrigation
plan will be prepared.
Milestones will include a conceptual design
working session with City staff and
submittals to the City at 95% and 100%
levels of completion. It is assumed that the
project specifications will be prepared by
the City and that no additional topographic
survey will be needed to support design.

COMMENTS: This contract addendum is attached to the Master Consulting Services Agreement between
