CITY HALL FOYER SAN RAFAEL, CALIFORNIA  Sign interpreters and assistive listening devices may be requested by calling 415/485-3085 (voice) or 415/ 485-3198 (TDD) at least 72 hours in advance. Copies of documents are available in accessible formats upon request.  Public transportation to City Hall is available through Marin Transit. Paratransit is available by calling Whistlestop Wheels at 415/454-0964.  To allow individuals with environmental illness or multiple chemical sensitivity to attend the meeting/hearing, individuals are requested to refrain from wearing scented products. PURSUANT TO COMMITTEE BYLAWS ADOPTED BY THE SAN RAFAEL CITY COUNCIL ON DECEMBER 4, 2017, ALL GENERAL PLAN COMMITTEE MEETINGS WILL END NO LATER THAN 9.00 PM. 1. WELCOME 2. RECORDING OF MEMBERS PRESENT AND ABSENT 3. ACCEPTANCE OF MEETING SUMMARY Due to the “field trip” format of this meeting, action on the Summary of the May 9 Meeting will be postponed to our July meeting. 4. PUBLIC COMMENT ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA. This portion of the meeting is reserved for persons desiring to address the Committee on matters not on this agenda. The law does not permit Committee action or extended discussion of any item not on the agenda except under special circumstances. If Committee action is requested, the item may be placed on a future agenda. 5. PRESENTATION AND DISCUSSION ITEMS A. Bus Tour – Steering Committee members will board two buses at 5:00 PM and proceed on a three hour tour highlighting long-range planning issues throughout San Rafael. The tour route is provided as Attachment “1” below. Each Steering Committee member will be provided with a Workbook at the start of the tour. The Workbook includes further detail on places of interest along the route, and provides space for Committee members to record their observations, ideas, and questions about what they are seeing. The Committee will disembark at the Al Boro Community Center, the Terra Linda Recreation Center, and Northgate Mall. Members of the public may follow the buses in their own vehicles and will be provided with copies of the Workbook. Copies of the Workbook will also be available on line for those who wish to take the tour on their own. Attachment 1: Bus Tour Route 6.
