THIS THIRD AMENDMENT TO TASK ORDER No. 13 is entered into on
S� R- lo-tr 0, 20Z,tbetween the City of San Rafael, a municipal corporation ("City"), and BKF
Engineers, ("Consultant").
RECITALS
A. The City and Consultant have entered into a Master Consultant Services Agreement
("Agreement") dated December 12, 2019 under which Consultant has agreed to perform professional
Surveying + Utilities services for the City.
B. Pursuant to the Agreement, on June 15, 2020, the City and Consultant entered into "Task
Order No. 13" under which Consultant agreed to perform civil services in connection with City's Schoen
Park Roadway Improvements Project, now called Spinnaker Point Parking Modifications Project (City
Project No. 11363) (the "Project"), as specified in Exhibit A attached to and included in Task Order No.
13, for a total not to exceed $5,800.
C. Pursuant to the Agreement, on September 24, 2021, the City and Consultant entered into
"Task Order No. 13.1" under which Consultant agreed to perform additional civil services in connection
with the Project, as specified in Exhibit A attached to and included in Task Order No. 13. 1, for a total not
to exceed $19,000, changing the total of Task Order 13 not to exceed $24,800.
D. Pursuant to the Agreement, on January 5, 2022, the City and Consultant entered into
"Task Order No. 13.2" under which Consultant agreed to perform additional civil services in connection
with the Project, as specified in Exhibit A attached to and included in Task Order No. 13.2, for a total not
to exceed $7,500, changing the total of Task Order 13 not to exceed $32,300.
E. City now requires Civil Engineering services for the Project, and the Consultant is willing
to provide such services.
NOW, THEREFORE, City and Consultant agree to amend Task Order No. 13 as follows:

AGREEMENT TO AMEND TASK ORDER NO. 13
1. Section 1 of Task Order No. 13, entitled "Scope of Services," as amended by Task Order No. 13. 1,
and Task Order 13.2, is hereby amended to include the additional services set forth in Consultant's proposal
dated June 22, 2022, attached to this Amendment to Task Order No. 13 as Exhibit A and incorporated
herein by reference.
2. Section 2 of Task Order No. 13, entitled "Date of completion; Work hours estimate; Cost estimate
and budget; Fee schedule" is hereby amended to include the additional services, work hours estimate, cost
estimate and budget set forth in Consultant's proposal dated June 22, 2022, attached to this Amendment to
Task Order No. 13 as Exhibit A, for an amount of $10,600, changing the total not to exceed to $42,900.
3. Except as specifically amended herein, all of the other provisions, terms and obligations of the
Agreement and Task Order No. 13 dated June 15, 2020, as amended by Task Order Nos. 13.1 and 13.2,
shall remain valid and shall be in full force.
4. Signatures. The parties have executed this Amendment to Task Order No. 13, as of the date first
written above.

Additional Service Request No. 2
Dear JC:
We have prepared this additional service request that addresses work outside the limits of our current contractual
scope of work. Below we have identified each item with the approximate level of effort needed to address the
additional tasks.
Scope of Services
Technical Specifications
Working under a previous email authorization, BKF has prepared technical specifications in CSI format for
elements included in our scope of work. We also assisted the City with the preparation of the front-end
specifications. This work has been completed in good faith and submitted to the City for use in bidding.
Bidding Support Services
BKF will coordinate with the City during the construction bid solicitation process on an as -needed basis. Bid
support services can include the following, provided upon request:
➢ Responding to RFI during the bid process
y Assisting the city with issuing bid addendum packages
y Summarizing and tabulating received bids.
Construction Administration Support Services
BKF has allocated up to a maximum of sixteen (16) hours of combined staff time to support the contractor and
City during the construction phase of the project. Anticipated services include written response to requests for
information (RFI's), submittal reviews, substitution requests, informational bulletins, addendums, attending pre -
construction meetings, site visits to provide clarification of the consultant's design intent for the contractor,
architect or owner, stormwater facility construction observations, punch list walks, and record drawings. These
services can be provided upon request.
Scope Qualifications and Assumptions
BKF's services are limited to those expressly set forth in the scope. BKF shall have no other obligations or
responsibilities for the project, except as provided in this proposal letter, or as agreed to in writing.
Fees for Professional Services
BKF proposes to provide the services on a Time and Materials basis as noted in the table below. We will invoice for
our services for each task summarized as follows:

This contract amendment is attached to the Master Consulting Services Agreement between BKF Engineers and
the City of San Rafael, dated December 12, 2019 and Task Order No. 13, dated June 15, 2021 and is governed by
the terms and conditions therein.
Schedule
BKF is able to commence working on this project immediately upon your authorization to proceed. BKF will
provide each task within 3 full business days of receipt of a clear, concise staking request approved to form and
content by BKF.
