Goal 2: Everyone in Marin can take advantage of all online opportunities. Goal 3: Marin has a high rate of digital adoption that benefits everyone. Goal 4: Marin has a community driven organization with a mission to deliver broadband for all. GODIGITALMARIN.ORG The Digital Marin Strategic Plan is a roadmap to move all of Marin from where we are today to a better digital future by advancing broadband deployment and digital adoption. SB 156 Broadband Programs Provides $6 billion to accelerate the state’s commitment to bridging the digital divide by increasing equitable, affordable access to high-speed internet service across California. Local Agency Technical Assistance (LATA) The Local Agency Technical Assistance grants support tribes and local agencies in their efforts to expand broadband service to unserved and underserved Californians. The program has a $50 million budget for grants that fund planning work to facilitate high-speed broadband infrastructure projects. Local Agency Technical Assistance (LATA) In November 2022, the City of San Rafael was awarded $258,620 to fund a feasibility study for developing broadband infrastructure in the Canal neighborhood.
