Study Session Objectives
Context: Enhancement of City's current efforts around homelessness
•Affordable Housing Trust Fund contributions to 190 Mill Street (~$1.1M),3301 Kerner
Boulevard (~$2.1M),providing shelter and permanent supportive housing
•Funding of case management services through County regional program ($260K)and through
Encampment Resolution Fund grant ($522K)
•Community Mental Health Liaison
•Countywide Coordinated Entry System,which has housed 574 people since launch
•Downtown Streets Team
•Dignity on Wheels mobile showers
•Request for information (RFI)for private property owner interest in Interim Housing sites
•Newly approved "Alternative Response Team"which will launch in the coming months

•Appropriate size (half acre accommodates ~ 30 doors plus
supportive space)
