SAN RAFAEL MUNICIPAL YACHT HARBOR
PARCELS ONE AND TKO
Gentlemen:
On August 23rd your committee of realtors met to discuss the renewal
of the above captioned properties with the Multiple Listing Division of the
Marin County Real Estate Board. It was the recommendation of this committee
that said listing be renewed for an additional period of ninety days under
the same price, terms and conditions as set forth in the original listing.
As a suggestion, the committee believed that under Paragraph 1, Page
2 of the original listing the word "minimumll might be deleted thus allowing
the Council to consider and accept any bonafide offer under the sale price
as outlined in Paragraph 1. It is our belief that the wording as now set
forth obligates the Council to consider only an offer to purchase that ful-
fills the minimum sale price, as contained in said paragraph.
It is our sincere belief that this listing should be continued
through the Multiple Listing Division and its ninety some offices so that
the most action possible may be given to this property. The committee has
had many inquiries from other members of the Multiple Listing Division and
are well pleased with the action that the Yacht Harbor property is receiving.
Should your Honorable Mayor and City Council approve the renewal of this
listing agreement for an additional ninety days, a letter to this effect
from the City Manager addressed to the Multiple Listing Division of the Marin
County Real Estate Board will be sufficient.
Yours very truly,
MAYNARD REDMOND & CO.

#140, we propose to proceed with the following improve-
ments upon said property:
Project #l:- Start immediately the reconstruction of
berthing facilities at the harbor with
a view towards attracting the most de-
sirable class of boats.
Project ;2:- Revamp and landscape harbor area with
trees, shrubs and benches. Rearrange
present kuildings and provide berth
and building space for Sea Scouts.
Project #3:- Plan and erect a restaurant with suit-

land, Parcel #2, facing the harbor.
We estimate the above improvements will cost
approximately $250,000.00 and will require five years
to complete.
