RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SALE OF BONDS WHEREAS, this City Council of the City of San Rafael, Marin County, California, has received a written proposal by HOOKER & FAY, INC. offering to purchase improvement bonds to be issued by the City of San Rafael to represent the unpaid assessments levied pur- suant to Resolution of Intention No. 2536 adopted by this City Council on the 2nd day of October, 1961, for the payment of the acquisition of improvements, and all of the incidental expenses, in connection with White Oaks Unit Two Assessment District, City of San Rafael, Marin County, California; and WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this City Council that the public interest and convenience will be served by accepting the offer of the said HOOKER & FAY, INC. of October 2, 1961, and will also be served by selling the said bonds at the price therein named; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of San Rafael that said proposal of October 2, 1961, be, and the same is hereby, accepted and that said bonds be, and they are hereby, ordered sold to HOOKER & FAY, INC. in the amount and subject to the terms and conditions stated in the bid of the said HOOKER & FAY, INC.; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the interest rate of said bonds be, and the same is hereby, fixed at the rate stated in said bid; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said bonds shall be dated the 2nd day of December, 1961 and shall bear interest from said date; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a certified copy of the Amended Engineer's Report, Assessment and Diagram, shall be filed in the office of the City Treasurer of the City of San Rafael and that said certified copy of said Amended Engineer's Report and Assessment shall constitute the unpaid list of assessments provided to be filed with the Treasurer of the City under the provisions of Section 10,600 -1- of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California.
