RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Rafael,
County of Marin, State of California, did, on the 5th day of
November, 1962, order the construction of improvements to be
made in the Loch Lomond Highlands Unit One Assessment District,
City of San Rafael, County of Marin, State of California, as
set forth in the Amended Engineer's Report adopted and approved
on said 5th day of November, 1962; and
WHEREAS, by resolution adopted on the 1st day of Octo-
ber, 1962, it was directed that bids be called for the doing
of said work and that the time fixed for receiving sealed bids
or proposals was set in said resolution for the 1st day of Octo-
ber, 1962, at the hour of 2:00 o'clock P.M. of said day; and
WHEREAS, said Notice Inviting Sealed Bids was duly pub-
lished in the time and manner provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the hour of 2:00 o'clock P.M. on the 1st day
of November, 1962 having arrived, and all bids having been pub-
licly opened, examined and declared pertaining to the doing of
the work and improvement described in Resolution of Intention
No. 2674 for the construction of improvements, which said Reso-
lution of Intention is hereby expressly referred to for a de-
scription of said work and improvements and for all bids relative
to the proceedings under said Resolution of Intention; and
WHEREAS, said bids were referred to the Engineer of Work
of said Loch Lomond Highlands Unit One Assessment District with
directions to make a report to this City Council at the next meet-
ing thereof;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the City
Council of the City of San Rafael hereby rejects all of the said
proposals or bids except that herein mentioned, and hereby -awards
the contract for doing said work and improvements to the lowest
responsible bidder, to wit: ,

at the prices named in the bid of said bidder on file in the
office of the City Clerk of the City of San Rafael.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly adopted by the City Council of the City of San
Rafael, California, at a regular meeting thereof, held on the
5th day of November, 1962, by the following vote, to wit:
