BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of San Rafael,
County of M -aria, State of California, that. said City Council proposes
to amend t -1 --le proceedings for the formation of said assessment district
by deleting from Resolution of intention No. 2606 the words "school
boardfB contained in the second paragraph on page 3 of said Resolution
of Intention.
It is the intention of said City Council of the City of
San Rafael to delete the words "school board" from the lar_guage of
said Resolution of Intention as hereinabove outlined, in order to
include the property of the Sari Rafael School District located within
the boundaries of said assessment district and to assess said school
district for its proportionate share of the costs of the work and
improvements and all other expenses incurred in said proceedings
according to the benefit derived by said school district from said
improvements.
That the inclusion of said school district as property to
be assessed for its proportionate share of the cost of said work and
improvemie-nts will not increase the cost of the work of the district
as said costs have been preliminarily determined by the Engineer of
Work and as set forth in the Engineers Estimate of Cost, and as will
be determined by the submission of public bids for the doing of said
work and improvement.
Notice is hereby given that Monday, the 17th day of December,
1962, at the hour of 5:00 P.li., at the meeting place of the City
Cot ascii, Sa- ,.afael City lull, San Rafael, California, shall be the
time and place when and where said City Council of the City of San
Rafael wi.I consider and finally determine whether said change in
::-.he language of the Resolution of Intention in Bret Harte Drainage
.lssessmaent District, City of can Rafael, shall be made; and is also
as the time and place wh en and where all persons interested
=ei;� may be heard in connection with said proposed change.

T`:'ie City Clerk of the City of San Rafael shall cause a
copy of this resolution to be published once in the INDEPENDENT -
JOURNAL, the newspaper heretofore designated in Resolution of Inten-
tion No. 2606, at least ten (10) days prior to the time fixed herein
for hearing.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly
and regularly adopted by the City Council of the City of San Rafael,
Marin County, California, at a regular meeting thereof, held on the
5th day of November, 1962, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Aby, Baar, Jensen, Menary and Mayor McInnis
NOES: Councilmen
ABSENT: Councilmen
