RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO AMEND THE SECOND AMENDED
ENGINEER'S REPORT IN CHULA VISTA ASSESSMENT DISTRICT,
CITY OF SAN RAFAEL, COUNTY OF MARIN, STATE OF CALIFOR-
NIA, DIRECTING THE ENGINEER OF WORK TO FILE A THIRD
AMENDED ENGINEER'S REPORT, INCLUDING PLANS AND SPECI-
FICATIONS FOR EXTENSION OF SEWER LINE AND SETTING TIME
AND PLACE OF HEARING THEREON.
WHEREAS, on the 6th day of August, 1962, the City Council of
the City of San Rafael, County of Marin, State of California, pursu-
ant to the provisions of the Municipal Improvement Act of 1913,
adopted its Resolution of Intention No. 2647 for the construction
and acquisition of improvements, easements and rights of way, as
more particularly described in said Resolution of Intention; and
WHEREAS, on the 21st day of January, 1963, the City Council
of the City of San Rafael adopted Resolution No. 2737, being a
Resolution of Intention to amend the Resolution of Intention in
said assessment district to include additional properties within
the boundaries of said assessment district; and
WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 2737 fixed Monday, the 4th day
of February, 1963, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock P.M. as the time for
hearing protests against the inclusion of said property within the
boundaries of said assessment district,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of San Rafael as follows, to wit:
1. That the Engineer of Work for said Chula Vista Assessment
District is hereby authorized and directed to file a Third Amended
Engineer's Report including plans and specifications for certain
improvements required to serve certain properties proposed to be
included within the boundaries of said assessment district, which
properties were not originally included within the boundaries of
said assessment district.
2. That Monday, the 18th day of March, 1963, at the hour of
8:00 o'clock P.M. in the meeting place of the City Council of the
City of San Rafael,, located in the City Hall, 5th and "A" Streets,
San Rafael, California, is hereby fixed as the time and place for
hearing protests against the proposed additional improvements

designed to serve additional property proposed to be included
within the boundaries of said Chula Vista Assessment District.
3. That the City Clerk of the City of San Rafael is hereby
directed to publish a copy of this Resolution in the San Rafael
INDEPENDENT JOURNAL in accordance with requirements of.the Municipal
Improvement Act of 1913.
4. That this action is being taken in accordance with the
provisions of Sections 10313 to 10316 inclusive, of the Municipal
Improvement Act of 1913, being a part of the Streets and Highways
Code of the State of California.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly and
regularly adopted by the City Council of the City of San Rafael,
County of Marin, State of California, at a regular meeting thereof,
held on the 4th day of March, 1963, by the following vote, to wit:
