RESOLUTION OVERRULING PROTESTS
WHEREAS, on the 7th day of December, 1962, the City Council
of the City of San Rafael, County of Marin, State of California,
adopted its Resolution No. 2, a Resolution and Order Adopting
the Amended Engineer's Report, Ordering the Acquisition and Con-
struction of Improvements and Fixing Time of Hearing Upon the Amended
Engineer's Report, Chula Vista Assessment District, San Rafael, Marin
County, California; and
WHEREAS, said Resolution No.fixed the 7th day of
January, 1963, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock P.M. of said day, at the
meeting place of the City Council of the City of San Rafael as the
time and place for hearing protests with relation to the proposed
acquisition and construction of improvements described in the amended
Engineer's Report, the grades to which the work will be done, the
extent of the assessment district, the assessment or the engineer's
estimate of the cost and expenses, or any other act or determination
of the Engineer of Work or the City Council; and
WHEREAS, certain owners of property liable to be assessed
for said work and improvement made written protests or objections in
writing and delivered the same to the City Clerk not later than the
hour set for hearing such objections; and
WHEREAS, at the time set for hearing the protests and objec-
tions, the said City Council of the City of San Rafael proceeded to
hear the same and continued said hearing from time to time thereafter
to the 4th day of March, 1963; and
WHEREAS, at the time set for hearing the protests and ob-
jections the said City Council of the City of San Rafael proceeded
to hear the same and all of the protests and objections having been
heard and duly considered;
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
San Rafael, County of Marin, State of California, that all of the
said protests and objections of every kind or nature be, and the

same are hereby, overruled or denied; and
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that said City Council finds that
said protests and objections are made by the owners of less than
one-half of the area of the property to be assessed for said
improvements.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly adopted by the City Council of the City of San Rafael,
County of Marin, State of California, at a regular meeting thereof,
held on the 18th day of March, 1963, by the following vote, to wit:
