A RESOLUTION DETERMINING UNPAID REASSESSMENTS
AND PROVIDING FOR ISSUANCE OF BONDS
MARINT BAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO.2
REASSESSMENT NOS. 25A, 403A, 73A AND 74A
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of San Rafael,
California, that
WHEREAS, after proceedings to that end duly had and taken, this
Council has ordered partial reassessments against certain parcels
heretofore assessed pursuant to Resolution of Intention No. 2576
adopted by this Council on March 19, 1962, which reassessments have
been duly recorded in the office of the Superintendent of Streets
and now represent liens against the respective parcels described
therein.;
WHEREAS, notice of said recordation and of the right to pay said
reassessments in cash having been waived, the Superintendent of
Streets has filed with the City Treasurer a list of all reassessments
which now remain unpaid;
WHEREAS, this Council has duly considered said list and has
determined that the same is an accurate statement thereof.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows:
1. That the reassessments on said unpaid list which now remain
unpaid, and the aggregate thereof, are as shown on Exhibit "A" hereto
attached and by reference made a part hereof.
2. That for a particular description of the lots bearing the
respective reassessment numbers set forth in said unpaid list, and
upon which said reassessments remain unpaid, severally and respective-
ly, reference is hereby made to the reassessment and diagram recorded
in the office of the Superintendent of Streets of said City after
confirmation by said Council, the several lots represented by said
reassessment numbers being so numbered and designated upon said dia-
gram and reassessment as so confirmed and recorded, severally and
respectively.
3. The unpaid list is in the amount of $24,183.80. Bonds
shall be issued upon the security of said unpaid reassessments in
said amount in accordance with the provisions of the Improvement Act
of 1911 (Division 7 of the Streets and Highways Code) and under and
pursuant to the provisions of said Resolution of Intention and the
proceedings thereunder duly had and taken, and the reassessment pro-
ceedings duly had and taken. Said bonds shall be designated "Marin
Bay Improvement District No. 2, Series No. 1962-2", shall be dated
December 5, 1963, shall bear interest from their date at the rate of
six per cent (6%) per annum, payable July 2, 1964 and semi-annually
thereafter, shall each mature in fifteen (15) equal annual install-
ments represented by annual principal coupons maturing January 2,
1965 to January 2, 1979, inclusive, and shall provide a premium of
five per cent (5%) of the unpaid principal thereof on call.
Said bonds shall be substantially in the -form provided in
the improvement Act of 1911, except that the words "after the
acceptance of said work" shall be deleted from the second paragraph
thereof., and appropriate changes shall be made to indicate that the
bonds are issued to represent reassessments.
5. That said bonds shall be executed by the City Treasurer,
sealed and delivered to the purchaser thereof upon receipt of the
amount therefor as provided in Resolution No. 2619, A Resolution
Awarding Sale of Bonds, adopted by this Council on June 18., 1962

copy of a resolution duly passed and adopted by the City Council of
,the City of San 4afael, California, at a meeting thereof held on the
