RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR WORK TO BE DONE
IN PARKING DISTRICT N0, 1 OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
WHEREAS, bids were received by the City Council of the City of
San Rafael on the 1st day of June 196+ for the construction of
additional facilities in Parking District No. 1 of the City of San
Rafael; and

City Council of the City of San Rafael the further option within the
aforesaid time of substituting ChemComp as manufactured by the Permanente
Cement Company for the Portland Cement specified in the topping slabs of
both structures. The substitution shall include preparation and installa-
tion as recommended by the manufacturer and necessary expansion joints.
It is understood that this substitution will increase the net contract
cost by three thousand dollars ($3,000.00); and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all other bids are hereby rejected ;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all other alternatives submitted in
the bids on file herein be, and they are hereby, rejected.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly and
regularly adopted by the City Council of the City of San Rafael, Marin
County, California, at a regular meeting thereof, held on the 27th day of
July, 1964, by the following vote, to wit:
