RESOLU.E'ION CONCERNING SUBDIVISION OF LAND
AND ISSUANCE OF BUILDING PERMITS
GOOD CAUSE APPEARING THEREFOR, IT IS RESOLVED:
1. That the Planning Commission of the City of San Rafael
is hereby directed to not approve any subdivision of land in the
City of San Rafael except those subdivisions of land which are in
complete compliance with the Ordinances of the City of San Rafael,
and where pertinent and as required by said Ordinances, said
Planning Commission shall require a guarantee that proper public
improvements will be installed; and
2. That the Building Department of the City of San Rafael
is hereby directed to not issue any building permit for the erection,
construction, enlarging, altering, repairing, moving, improving,
removing, converting, or demolishing of any building or structure
in the City of San Rafael except for those buildings or structures
which are in complete compliance with the Ordinances of the City
of San Rafael, and said Building Department is specifically
directed to,not issue any building permit for the erection, con-
struction, enlarging, altering, repairing, moving, improving,
removing, converting, or demolishing of any building or structure
that is or will be located on a parcel of land that has not been
subdivided in full compliance with the Ordinances of the City of
San Rafael.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and
regularly adopted by the City Council of the City of San Rafael,
Marin County, California, at a regular meeting thereof held on the
3rd day of August 1964, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen ply; Bair, Baffler,'Jusee, bd Mayor Mchok
NOES: Councilmen
ABSENT: Councilmen

City of San Rafael except those subdivisions of land which are in
complete compliance with the Ordinances of the City of San Rafael,
and where pertinent and as required by said Ordinances, said.
