RESOLUTION AUTHORIAING THE EXCHANGE AND
ACCEPTING THE CONVEYANCE OF REAL PROPERTY
FOR THE EXTENSION OF THIRD STREET, SAN RAFAEL.
WHEREAS, in the interest, convenience, and welfare of the public
of the City of San Rafael it is necessary that certain properties be exchanged
to provide for the construction of the extension of Third Street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
San Rafael that that certain grant of real property known as a portion of
County Assessor's Parcel No. 11-245-18 be and the same is hereby accepted; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that that portion of County Assessor's Parcel
No. 11-245-17 , presently owned by the City of San Rafael, be conveyed to Mrs.
Jane E. Wilson, a widow; and
that portion of
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that as further remuneration for/Parcel
No. 11-245-17 being so exchanged, Mrs. Jane E. Wilson does agree to make
payable to the City of San Rafael the sum of EIGHT HUNDRED THIRTY FOUR AND
75/100THS ($834.75) DOLLARS; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk of said City is hereby directed
to cause said exchange of properties to be duly recorded in the office of the
County Recorder of the County of Marin, State of California, forthwith upon
the adoption of this resolution.
I, W. L. MORGAN, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, California, hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and
adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said City held on Monday, the
17th day of August, 1964, by the following vote, to -wit:
