RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ESTABLISH SETBACK LINES ALONG THE SOUTH SIDE OF LISBON STREET AND THE WEST SIDE OF VERDI STREET WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of San Rafael, on the 25th day of August 1964, recommended the establishment of setback lines along certain streets in the City of San Rafael, which setback lines are described as follows: (a) Five feet on the south side of Lisbon Street from Verdi Street and Bellam Boulevard, said distance to be measured from the street right-of-way line; and (b) Five feet on the west side of Verdi Street from Belvedere Street to Market Street, said distance to be measured from the street right-of-way line. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has determined that the public necessity, safety, and general welfare require the establish- ment of said setback lines. NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of San Rafael, under the authority of Chapter 13.04 of the San Rafael Municipal Code, hereby declares its intention to establish said setback lines. NOTICE. Notice is hereby given that on Monday, the 5th day of October 1964, at 8:00 o'clock P.M. in the Council Chambers, City Hall, San Rafael, Calif6rnia, a public hearing will be had on said proposed setback lines, and any and all persons having any objection to the establishment of the said proposed setback line or lines may appear before the City Council of the City of San Rafael, and present any objections which they may have to said pro- posed setback line or lines as set forth above. IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall be pub- lished twice in the Independent Journal, a newspaper published in the City of San Rafael, and two copies of this Resolution shall be -1- posted conspicuously at least 100 feet apart upon the side of each street in front of each block of the streets mentioned above along which the said setback lines are proposed to be established. Said publication and posting of this Resolution shall be made at least ten days before the time of said public hearing. I, W. L.
