RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE CONVEYANCE OF REAL PROPERTY
FOR THE EXTENSION OF THIRD STREET, EASTERLY, SAN RAFAEL,
CALIFORNIA.-.----
WHEREAS,
ALIFORNIA.----
WHEREAS, public interest, convenience, and welfare require the
acquisition of certain property for the extension of Third Street, Easterly;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, by the City Council of the
City of San Rafael that that certain grant of real property known as 1,430.42
square feet of land, more or less, a portion of County Assessor's Parcel
No. 14-171-23 be and the same is hereby accepted; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Treasurer of said City of San Rafael
shall make a warrant payable to the TITLE INSURANCE AND TRUST COMPANY in the
amount of TWENTY TWO THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED NINETY FOUR AND NO/100THS DOLLARS
and upon the close of escrow to be paid to HARRY A. SIMPSON and MARGUERITE
F. SIMPSON, his wife, as full payment Mfr said property; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk of said City is hereby
directed to cause said conveyance to be duly recorded in the office of the
County Recorder of the County of Marin, State of California, forthwith upon
the adoption of this resolution.
I, W. L. MORGAN, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, California, hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and
adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said City held on Monday the
2nd day of November, 1964, by the following vote to -wit:

§eginning at the southerly corner of Lot 1, Block P as shown on that certain map entitled
"UNIT ONE, MARINA HIGHLANDS, SAN RAFAEL, CALIFORNIA", which map was filed in the office of
the County Recorder of Marin County, California, on September 7, 1927 in Book 5 of Maps at
page 47; thence from said Point of Beginning, along the southwesterly line of Lots 1, 2 and
3 as said lots are shown on the hereinabove mentioned map the following courses: North 52° 41'
West 105.66 feet, North 788 49' West 47.87 feet, and North 24° 50' West 1.66 feet to the
westerly corner of the hereinabove mentioned Lot 3; thence along the northwesterly line of
said Lot 3, North 37° 19' East 2;2.$5 feet more or less to a point, said point being distant
along said northwesterly line of Lot 3, South 370 19' West 74.19 feet from -the northerly
corner of said Lot 3; thence from last said point, leaving said northwesterly line of Lot 3,
southeasterly from a tangent which bears South 58° 42.' 13" East on the arc of;a curve to
the right with a radius of 800 feet, a central angle of 50 53' 07", an arc distance of
82.17 feet; thence tangent to the preceding curve, South 520 49' 06" East 25.43 feet; thence
southeasterly, tangent to the preceding course, on the arc of a curve to the l=eft with a
radius of 564.40 feet, a central angle of 40 20' 05", an arc distance of 42.70 feet to a
point on the southeasterly line bf the hereinabove mentioned Lot 1, said point being distant
along last said southeasterly line, South 37° 19' West 68.01 feet.from the easterly corner of
said Lot 1; thence from last said point, along said Southeasterly line of Lot 1, South 370 19'
West 8.73 feet, more or less, to the Point of Beginning.
Containing 1,430.42 square feet of land, more or less.
