RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE CONVEYANCE OF REAL PROPERTY
FOR THE EXTENSION OF THIRD STREET, EASTERLY, SAN
RAFAEL.
WHEREAS, public interest, convenience, and welfare require the
acquisition of certain property for the extension of Third Street, Easterly;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, by the City Council of the
City of San Rafael that that certain grant of real property known as 209.37
square feet of land, more or less, a portion of County Assessor's Parcel
No. 14-171-18 be and the same is hereby accepted; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Treasurer of said City of San
Rafael shall make a warrant payable to the TITLE INSURANCE AND TRUST COMPANY
in the amount of SEVENTEEN THOUSAND FIFTY AND NO/100THS DOLLARS, and upon the close
of excrow to be paid to EDWARD C. PRESTON and GEORGE R. O'NEIL as full payment for
said property; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk of said City is hereby directed
to cause said conveyance to be duly recorded in the office of the County Recorder
of the County of Marin, State of California, forthwith upon the adoption of this
resolution.
I, W. L. MORGAN, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, California, hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted
at a regular meeting of The Cound_il of said City held on Monday the 2nd day of
November, 1964, by the following vote to with:
