RESOLUTION OF COMMENDATION
FOR
WILLIAM L. MORGAN
WHEREAS, WILLIAM L. MORGAN has faithfully served the City of San Rafael
as City Clerk for over the past eleven years, and
WHEREAS, he has desired to submit his resignation as an elected official
of the City of San Rafael, and
WHEREAS, during his tenure in office he has efficiently and deligently
served said city, and
WHEREAS, because of his exceptional financial knowledge and experience
the City Council appointed him as Finance Officer in addition
to his duties as City Clerk, and
WHEREAS, in recognition of his efficient and excellent service the
citizens of San Rafael saw fit to reelect him to office in 1959
and again in 1963.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
RAFAEL, that the resignation of WILLIAM L. MORGAN be accepted with
sincere reluctance but at the same time said Council extends
their congratulations and wishes for happiness and well being
in the future.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk be and he is hereby directed
to prepare an exemplified copy of this Resolution for presenta-
tion to WILLIAM L. MORGAN.
I, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby ceritfy
thWthe foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted
at a regular meeting of the Council of said City held on Monday, the 21st
day of December, 1964, by the following voter to -wit:
