RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT, FRANCISCO BOULEVARD
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT, CITY OF SAN RAFAEL, MARIN COUNTY,
CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Rafael, Marin
Couni-y, California, did, on the 21st day of December, 1964, order
the construct -.ion of improvement -s to be made in Francisco Boulevard
Assessment District, Cite of San Rnf_ael, Marin County, California,
as described in ResoluCi.on of Int..ention No. 2740 of said City Council,
adopted on the 18th day of February, 1963; and
WHEREAS, by Resolution adopted on the 21st day of December,
1964, it was directed that bids be called for the doing of said con-
struction work and the time fixed for receiving sealed bids or pro-
posals was set in said resolution for the 18th day of January, 1965,
at the hour of 2:30 o°clock P. M. of said day; and
WHEREAS, Notice Inviting Sealed Bids was duly published in
the time and manner required by law; and
WHEREAS, all bids having been publicly opened, examined and
declared pertaining to the doing of the work and improvements described
in said Resolution of Intention No. 2740, which said Resolution of
Intention is hereby expressly referred to for a description of said
work and improvements and for all further particulars relative to
the proceedings under said Resolution of Intention; and
WHEREAS, codsideration of said bids was amtinued from time
to time to the

NOW,
THEREFORE, IT IS
HEREBY.RESOLVED
that the City'Council
of the City of San Rafael hereby rejects all of said proposals or bids
except that herein mentioned, and hereby awards the contract for said
improvements to the lowest responsible bidder, to wit: KIRKWOOD-BLY,
INC., a corporation, at the prices named in the bid of said bidder on
file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of San Rafael.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly and
regularly introduced and adopted at an adjourned regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of San Rafael held on the-22nd day of
