RESOLUTION URGING APPROVAL OF PACIFIC TELEPHONE
AND TELEGRAPH COMPANY'S APPLICATION TO ESTABLISH
EXTENDED SERVICE BETWEEN THE IGNACIO AND SAN RAFAEL
TELEPHONE EXCHANGES.
The City Council of the City of San Rafael having in the Fall
of 1964 directed its attention to a petition from the Pacific Telephone
and Telegraph Company requesting extended service between its Ignacio
and San Rafael exchanges, and the City Council of the City of San Rafael
having from that investigation determined that the extension of such
services would be desirable and that the rearrangement of rate methods
thereunder would be acceptable, it was then determined that this was a
desirable action to have accomplished. It now appears that this request
for extended services has not been granted and it is therefore:
RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of San Rafael
requests the Public Utilities Commission of the State of California to
act separately on the above-mentioned application and urges approval of
this application to establish extended service between the Ignacio and
San Rafael telephone exchanges.
I, W. C. CORNWELL, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify
that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted
at a regular meeting of the Council of said City held on Monday, the 5th
day of April 1965, by the following vote, to -wit:
