RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE DEED TO REAL PROPERTY FOR
THE EXTENSION OF BELLAM BOULEVARD, SAN RAFAEL, CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, public interest, convenience, and welfare require
the acquisition of certain property for the extension of Bellam Boulevard,
San Rafael, California.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, by the City Council of
the City of San Rafael that that certain grant of real property known as
1,867 square feet of land, more or less, a portion of County Assessor's Parcel
No. 17-101-41 be and the same is hereby accepted; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Treasurer of said City of
San Rafael shall make a warrant payable to TITLE INSURANCE AND TRUST COMPANY
in the amount of FIVE THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED ONE ANDNO/100THS ($5,601.00) DOLLARS
and upon the close of escrow to be paid to SOCONY MOBIL OIL COMPANY, INC., as
full payment for said property; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk of said City is hereby
directed to cause said deed to be duly recorded in the office of the County
Recorder of the County of Marin, State of California, forthwith upon the
adoption of this resolution.
I, W. C. CORNWELL, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, California,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced
and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said City held on Monday
the 17th day of May, 1965, by the following vote, to -wit:
