RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR Road materials, specifically listed
in the specifications under the heading of Rock Screenings and also
Asphaltic Emulsions -Penetration Type.
14HEREAS, sealed bids or proposals were received by the City
Council for the furnishing of Road materialsq specifically listed in
the specifications under the heading of Rock Screenings and also Asphaltic
Dnulsions-Penetration Type.
and all such bids or proposals were publicly opened, examined and
declared; and
WHEREAS, the bid or proposal of Hutchinson Co., 7360 Schmidt Lane
El Cerrito, California
, at the quotation stated in his
bid, was and is the lowest responsible bidder or proposal,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City
Clerk are authorized to execute a contract on behalf of the City
with said successful bidder in accordance with the terms, specifica-
tions, and general provisions of said bid or proposal.
FURTHER RL SOLVED, that all other bids or proposals are hereby
rejected and the City Manager is directed to return all accompanying
certified checks, cash, and bond of said unsuccessful bidders.
I, W. CLIFFORD CORNWELL, City Clerk, hereby certify, that the
foregoing resolution was duly introduced and adopted at a meeting
of the City Council held on the 21st day of June
19 65 by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen A Baan, Barbier, Jensen, and Mayer Bettini
