RESOLUTION AVIARDING CONTRACT FOR Rnac3 matc�ri al s Pci fi mal 13r thasp
items contained in the specifications under the heading Asphalt Concrete
(Type B) Section 39.
IPIHEREAS, sealed bids or proposals were received by the City
Council for the furnishing of Road materials, specifically those items
contained inthe specifications under the heading Asphalt Concrete (Type B)
Section 39.
and all such bids or proposals were publicly opened, examined and
declared; and
WHEREAS, the bid or proposal of Basalt Rock Company, Inc., Box 540
Napa, California , at the quotation stated in his
bid, was and is the lowest responsible bidder or proposal,
NOVJ, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City
Clerk are authorized to execute a contract on behalf of the City
with said successful bidder in accordance with the terms, specifica-
tions, and general provisions of said bid or proposal.
FURTHER RESOLVED, that all other bids or proposals are hereby
rejected and the City Manager is directed to return all accompanying
certified checks, cash, and bond of said unsuccessful bidders.
I, W. CLIFFORD CORN1,1ELL, City Clerk, hereby certify, that the
foregoing resolution was duly introduced and adopted at a meeting
of the City Council held on the 21st day of June 9
