RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR ONE (1) BACKHOE -LOADER AS PER SPECIFICATIONS.
Whereas, sealed bids or proposals were received by the City Council
for the furnishing of one (1) Backhoe -Loader as per specifications and
all such bids or proposals were publicly opened, examined and declared;
and
WHEREAS, the bid or proposal of Contractors Machinery Company,
1301 Custer Avenue, San Francisco, California, at the quotation stated
in his bid, was and is the lowest responsible bidder or proposal,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the City Manager is
authorized to prepare a purchase order on behalf of the City to be
issued to the successful bidder in accordance with the terms, specifi-
cations, and general provisions of said bid or proposal.
FURTHER RESOLVED, that all other bids or proposals are hereby
rejected and the City Manager is directed to return all accompanying
certified checks, cash, and bond of said unsuccessful bidders.
I, W. CLIFFORD CORNWELL, City Clerk, hereby certify, that the
foregoing resolution was duly introduced and adopted at a meeting
of the City Council held on the 18th day of October, 1965 by the following
vote:
AYES: Councilmen Aby, liar, Barbier, Jensen, and Mayor Bettinl
NOES: Councilmen
ABSENT: Councilmen
