Home My WebLink AboutCC Resolution 3351RESOLUTION N0, 3351 RESOLUTION AFFIRMING THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL IN CONNECTION WITH THE NAMING OF THE STREET CONNECTING FRANCISCO BOULEVARD WITH DUBOIS STREET BE CALLED "RICE DRIVE". WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of San Rafael, on the 26th day of October 1965, recommended the name of the street connecting Francisco Boulevard with Du Bois Street be called..IlLce Drive"; WHEREAS, the planning -Commission of the City of San Rafael determined that the public necessity, convenience and general welfare required the change of street name, in that, the change of street name follows the street naming pattern of the neighborhood; WHEREAS, the matter came on regularly for consideration by the City Council of the City of San Rafael on the 1st day of November 1965; WHEREAS; evidence, both oral and documentary, was produced and good cause appearing therefor; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED that the recommendation of the Planning Commission of the City of San Rafael to naming of the street connecting Francisco Boulevard with DuBois Street be called "Rice Drive" is hereby affirmed. I, W.
