RESOLUTION CHANGING STREET NAME
WHEREAS, the renaming of that portion of Glen Park Avenue which by
its meandering and circulas route was causing confusion and hardship,
was not accomplished as recommended by the Planning Commission in the
City Council's Resolution 2968 and
WHEREAS, it was the intent of the City Council to comply with
the recommendation of the Planning Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of San Rafael, California, that the name of that portion of
Glen Park Avenue beginning at the northeasterly corner of Parcel
15-041-20 as shown on the Assessor's map of Marin County, California,
dated March 1, 1965, thence running easterly along the southerly line
of now called Glen Park Avenue, to the Northerly line of Linden Lane,
hereafter be called Worthington Lane.
I, W. CLIFFORD CORNWELL, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced
and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said City held on
Monday, the 21st day of March, 1966, by the following vote, to -wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Aby, Baar, Barbier, Jensen and Mayor Bettini
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None
