Home My WebLink AboutCC Resolution 3452RESOLUTION NO. �2# RESOLUTION GIVING NOTICE OF PROPOSED ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL OF UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESCRIBED HEREIN AND DESIGNATED "NORTHGATE SHOPPING CENTER, UNIT NO, 3", AND GIVING NOTICE OF TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING OF PROTESTS THERETO. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL; I. That, pursuant to the Provisions of the Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939, a petition signed by owners of not less than one-fourth of the land in the hereinafter described territory, by area and by assessed value as shown on the last equalized assessment roll of the County of Marin, was filed with the Council of the City of San Rafael on the 6th day of June, 1966, requesting annexation of the hereinafter described territory to s.ai;d City. 2. That the aforesaid described petition is signed by the owners of all of the land in the said territory proposed to be annexed, 3. That the territory which the petitioner requests be annexed to the City of San Rafael and which said City and its Council proposed to annex, is situate in the County of Marin, State of California, hereby, designated "NORTHGATE SHOPPING CENTER, UNIT NO. 3", and Is described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein. 4. That the County Boundary Commission of Mari,,n County, California, did consider the said proposed annexation boundaries of said "NQRTHGATE SHOPPING CENTER, UNIT NO. 3," as herein described, and as submitted to said Commission by the proponents of said annexation and approved the same. 5. That the Local Agency Formation Commission of Marin County, California, did consider the said proposed annexation boundaries of said "NORTH - GATE SHOPPING CENTER, UNIT NO. 3" as herein described, and as submitted to said Commission by the proponents of said annexation and approved the same, 6. That Monday the 20th day of June, 1966, at the hour of 8;0.0 o�clock P.M., in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of San Rafael, ORIGINAL of Marin, California, is hereby fixed as the t[me and place when and where ,the City Council of the City of San Rafael shall hear protests from any owner of property within the city who does not also own property in the territory to be annexed. 7. The City Clerk of the City of San Rafael, is hereby authorized and directed to cause a copy of this Resolution to be Published at least once in the Independent -Journal, a newspaper of general circulation published in said City of San Rafael, the city to which it is proposed to annex the aforesaid territory, said publication to be complete at least four days prior to the date set for the hearing. 8. The City Clerk is directed to cause written notice to be given to such other persons as may be legally entitled thereto, in the manner required by law. I, W.
