RESOLUTION' AWARDING CONTRACT FOR Road materials for the fiscal year
July 1, 1966 to June 30, 1967, specifically listed in the specifications under
the headingsof Asphaltic Emulsions - Section 949and also of Bricks.
l-JHEREAS, sealed bids or proposals were received by the City
Council
for
the furnishing
of Road materials
for the fiscal year
July 1,
1966
to June 30, 1967,
specifically listed
in the specifications under
the headingsof Asphaltic Emulsions - Section 94, and also of Bricks.
and all such bids or proposals were publicly opened, examined and
declared; and
WHEREAS, the bid or proposal of McPhai 1 ls, Inc., 917 C Street
San Rafael, California
, at the quotation stated in his
bid, was and is the lowest responsible bidder or proposal,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City
Clerk are authorized to execute a contract on behalf of the City
with said successful bidder in accordance with the terms,, specifica-
tions, and general provisions of said bid or proposal.
FURTHER RESOLVED, that all other bids or proposals are hereby
rejected and the City Manager is directed to return all accompanying
certified checks, cash, and bond of said unsuccessful bidders.
I, W. CLIFFORD CORMIELL, City Clerk, hereby certify, that the
foregoing resolution was duly introduced and adopted at a meeting
of the City Council held on the 20th day of June ,
19 66 by the following vote:
