RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN RAFAEL AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 3+68
OF SAID COUNCIL AND THEREBY FIXING THE
COMPENSATION OR TIME OFF FOR HOLIDAYS.
GOOD CAUSE APPEARING THEREFOR, IT IS RESOLVED as
That Section 13 entitled "Holidays"
of Resolution No. 3+68 of this City is
hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 13. HOLIDAYS: All employees
excepting Police and'Fire Department shift
personnel who are required to work on a day
designated as an authorized holiday shall be
paid in addition to their regular salary for
the number of hours worked during such a day
at the rate of straight time, or shall be given
compensatory time off at a straight time rate
at the discretion of the City Manager. The
shift personnel in both the Police and Fire
Departments (namely, Police Captain, Lieutenant,
Sergeant, Sergeant -Detective, Patrolmen, Radio
Telephone Operator, Fire Battalion Chief,
Captain, Engineer and Firemen) are entitled to
straight time compensations for every holiday
in each given year which all other employees
receive as time off. Said compensation shall
be paid twice each year on the last pay period
of December and the last pay period of June.
I, W. C. CORNWELL, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
California, HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the
Council of said City held on the v day of
1966, by the following vote, to wit:
