RESOLUTION AFFIRMING THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE
PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
IN CONNECTION WITH THE RENAMING OF CASTRO
LANE TO WALTER LANE
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of San Rafael, on the 27th
day of September 1966 , recommended the renaming of Castro Lane to Walter
Lane in its entiretv ;
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of San Rafael determined that
the public necessity, convenience and general welfare required the change of street
name, in that,,the change of street name follows the street naming pattern of the
neighborhood;
WHEREAS, the matter came on regularly for consideration by the City Council
of the City of San Rafael on the 3rd day of October 19--6jk—;
WHEREAS, evidence, both oral and documentary, was produced and good cause
appearing therefor;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED that the recommendation of the Planning
Commission of the City of San Rafael to rename Castro Lane
to Walterr'CLanne is hereby affirmed.

foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular
meeting of the Council of the City of San Rafael held on the 3rd day of
October
