HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC Resolution 3506RESOLUTION NO.Ir U RESOLUTION AFFIRMING THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL IN CONNECTION WITH THE RENAMING OF WEST RAILROAD AVENUE TO CASTRO AVENUE WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of San Rafael, on the 27th day of September, 1966 , recommended the renaming of West Railroad Avenue to Castro Avenue in its entirety ; WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of San Rafael determined that the public necessity, convenience and general welfare required the change of street name, in that, the change of street name follows the street naming pattern of the neighborhood; WHEREAS, the matter came on regularly for consideration by the City Council of the City of San Rafael on the 3rd day of October WHEREAS, evidence, both oral and documentary, was produced and good cause appearing therefor; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED that the recommendation of the Planning Commission of the City of San Rafael to rename West Railroad Avenue to Castro Avenue is hereby affirmed.
