RESOLUT 1 ON URGING SUPPORT OF
MISSION TO PROGRESS m 67
WHEREAS, 1967 Is the 150th anniversary of the founding of the Mission
San Rafael; and
WHEREAS, the San Rafael Chamber of Cance desires to organize and
promote the observance of this occasion; and
WHEREAS, It Is t i ane, I y to dra upon both the bus i Ness and res i dente i
segments of our City to further this observance,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESaLVED, that the City of San Rafael does
declare 1967 as they Susquecenteenn i a 1 anniversary of the
Mission Sara Rafael; does further declare "Mission to
Progress 67" as Its theme for this ce l ebrat ion ; does
recognize said theme and coleebratton as a project of the
San Rafael Chamber of Commerce; and, doss urge all
residents and the iliusineess community to support said
"Mission to Progress - 67" in observance of this
Susqueecontenn i a 1 celebration.
