WHEREAS, the Marine Affairs Conference has annually made in-depth studies of navigational needs in California; and WHEREAS, said studies have benefited the State of California particularly, and the nation generally; and WHEREAS, the economy of the nation and the involved areas has been enhanced far beyond the amounts expended; and WHEREAS, the Corps of Engineers have the capabilities to efficiently study, construct and maintain each and every project recommended, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of San Rafael that the Marine Affairs Conference's recommenda- tions for Congressional appropriations for the Fiscal Year 1969 for study, planning and construction and maintenance of California harbors and channels are hereby endorsed and supported. I, W. CLIFFORD CORNWELL, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly Introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said City held on Monday the 1st day of April , 196 8 , by the following vote, towit: AYES: Councilmen Baar, Barbier, Jensen, Miskimen and Mayor Bettini NOES: Councilmen None ABSENT: Councilmen None W.
