RESOLUTION OF COMMENDATION
FOR
COLONEL HARRY W. SHOUP
WHEREAS, COLONEL HARRY W. SHOUP is being transferred from the
78th Fighter Wing at Hamilton Air Force Base; and
WHEREAS, the City Council hereby expresses its appreciation for
the close working relationship which has existed between
the City and the Air Force during Colonel Shoup's tenure
at Hamilton; and
WHEREAS, through a dedication to the defense of this community
he has given a feeling of security and well-being to the
citizens of San Rafael;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council, although
reluctant to see COLONEL HARRY W. SHOUP leave Hamilton
Air Force Base, sincerely wishes him happiness and
success at his new command in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
I, W. CLIFFORD CORNWELL, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify
that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and
adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said City held on Monday,
the 15th day of April, 1968, by the following vote, towit:
