RESOLUTION FIXING ELECTRICAL PERMIT FEES
WHEREAS, Section 12.20.030 of the San Rafael Municipal Code provides that
any person desiring an electrical permit shall, at the time of filing an application
therefor, pay a fee, which fee shall be as set forth by Resolution of the City Council;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to set the fees referred to in said Section
12.20.030
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED that any person desiring an electrical permit
shall, at the time of filing an application therefor, pay a fee as required in this
Resolution as follows:
1. For Issuing Permit $ 2.00
In addition:

tube or fluorescent lighting, each .15

per 100 square feet or fraction thereof. This fee in addition

(a) Electric self-contained signs, initially installed bearing
underwriters' label of approval. 2.00

herein prescribed, or to determine if existing work is in
compliance with applicable codes and ordinances, per hour 5.00

24. Outlets, fixtures or equipment in addition to those included in
the original permit.
A supplementary fee of 1.00
25. Where work for which a permit is required is started or proceeded
with prior to obtaining said permit, the fees herein specified
shall be doubled with a minimum charge of $10.00
