RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACTS FOR Furnishing of Road Materials for the
Fiscal Year 1968-69.
WHEREAS, sealed bids or proposals were received by the City Council
for the furnishing of Road Materials for the Fiscal Year 1968-69
and all such bids or proposals were publicly opened, examined and declared;
and
WHEREAS, the bids or proposals of the various successful vendors as on
file with the City Clerk , at the quotations stated in their respective
bids, were and are the lowest responsible bidders or proposals.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Clerk
are authorized to execute contracts on behalf of the City with said
successful bidders in accordance with the terms, specifications, and general
provisions of said bids or proposals.
FURTHER RESOLVED, that all other bids or proposals are hereby refected
and the City Manager is directed to return all accompanying certified checks,
cash, and bond of said unsuccessful bidders.
I, W. CLIFFORD CORNWELL, City Clerk, hereby certify, that the foregoing
resolution was duly introduced and adopted at a meeting of the City Council
held on the Ist day of July , 1968 by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen Baar, Barbier, Jensen, Miskimen and Mayor Bettini
NOES: Councilmen None
ABSENT: Councilmen None
