WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Rafael on the 15th
day of Julv , 196 8 , adopted Resolution No. 3671 BOOK 2231 PACE 22 I''f
entitled RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE VARIOUS EASEMENTS; and'
WHEREAS, said Resolution was posted as required by law; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works of the City of San Rafael,
California, conspicuously posted notices of easement vacation as required by law; _
and
WHEREAS, a hearing was had this day as required by law and said
Resolution No. 3671 , at which hearing the Council of the City of San
Rafael heard evidence offered by persons interested; and
WHEREAS, it appears from all of the evidence submitted that the
following described easements are unnecessary for present or prospective
public use;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED as follows:
1. That the following described easements are unnecessary for
present or prospective public use;
2. That the following described easements are hereby ordered
closed, abandoned and vacated;
3. That the easements closed, abandoned and vacated are described
on Exhibit "A" which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
I, W. CLIFFORD CORNWELL, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and
adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of San Rafael held

An easement for public utility purposes 3 feet in width lying
easterly of and contiguous to the following described line:
BEGINNING at the common corner on the southeasterly line of
Lots 9 and 10, as said Lots are shown and delineated on that
certain map entitled, "Map of Las Colindas Unit Nine, San Rafael,
Marin County, California" recorded in Volume 12 of Maps at Page
65, Marin County Records; thence, leaving said southeasterly line,
N 180 12' 39" E 88.00 feet and N 430 35' W 28.30 feet to the
southeasterly line of Patricia Way, as shown on the above
mentioned map, and the northwesterly terminus of the above des-
cribed easement.
