RESOLUTION APPROVING AND CONFIRMING STATEMENT OF
EXPENSE OF RAZING OR REMOVING BUILDINGS OR STRUCTURES
LOCATED AT 33 MARQUARD AVENUE, SAN RAFAEL, CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of San Rafael has heretofore
passed a resolution declaring the building or structure hereinafter described to
be a public nuisance and directing the owner to abate said nuisance within thirty
(30) days from the passage of said resolution, by having said building or structure
properly reconstructed or repaired or by having the same razed or removed, and
notifying him that if said nuisance is not so abated, said building or structure
will be razed or removed by the Building Inspector and the expense thereof made a
lien on the lot or parcel of land from which it was removed; and
WHEREAS, all notices as required by law were given and said nuisance
was not abated; and
WHEREAS, said nuisance was not abated within thirty (30) days after posting
a copy of said resolution; and
WHEREAS, the Building Inspector of the City of San Rafael had the condemned
building or structure razed and removed under his direction and supervision; and
WHEREAS, the Building Inspector kept an itemized account of the expenses
involved in the razing or removal of the condemned building or structure; and
WHEREAS, the Building Inspector of the City of San Rafael has submitted
to the City Council his itemized account of expenses involved in the razing or
removal of the condemned building or structure located at 33 Marquard Avenue,
San Rafael, California which real property is also known as Marin County Assessor's
Parcel No. 12-041-09; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Rafael has considered the
Building Inspector's statement of expense of razing or removing building or
structure located at 33 Marquard Avenue, San Rafael, California, and it appears
to be true and correct and no objections having been made against it; and
WHEREAS, it appears that all postings, notices, filings, and procedures
required by law have been given.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED:
1. That the itemized account of the Building Inspector of the City of

the City of San Rafael of the expenses involved in the razing or removal of the
condemned building or structure located at 33 Marquard Avenue, San Rafael, California
is true and correct and is hereby approved and confirmed.
2. That the gross expenses involved in said razing or removal is $862.00
and the net expenses thereof is $862.00.
3. That the sum of $862.00 shall constitute a lien on said real property,
which real property is also known as Marin County Assessor's Parcel No. 12-043-09,
and said sum shall be added to the next succeeding tax bill against said property
and shall be collectible at the same time and in the same manner as general municipal
taxes are collected and shall be subject to the same penalties and procedure in case
of delinquency.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
adopted by the City Council of the City of San Rafael, Marin County, California,
at a regular meeting thereof, held on the 26th day of August
19689 by the following vote, to -wit:
