RESOLUTION AFFIRMING THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE
PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL IN
CONNECTION WITH THE RENAMING OF PINEWOOD COURT
TO PINECONE COURT.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of San Rafael, on the
27th day of August, 1968, recommended the renaming of Pinewood Court which
is located in Glenwood Forest Unit Two subdivision to Pinecone Court in its
entirety;
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of San Rafael determined
that the public necessity, convenience and general welfare required the change
of street name, in that the change of street name will eliminate confusion
with a similar street name;
WHEREAS, the matter came on regularly for consideration by the City
Council of the City of San Rafael on the 3rd day of September, 1968;
WHEREAS, Evidence, both oral and documentary, was produced and good
cause appearing therefor;
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED that the entirety -of Pinewood Court -
which is located in Glenwood Forest Unit Two subdivision be renamed "Pinecone
Court."
I, W. CLIFFORD CORNWELL, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and
adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of San Rafael held
on the 3rd day of September, 1968, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Baar, Jensen, Miskimen and Mayor Bettini
NOES: Councilmen None
ABSENT: Councilmen Barbier
