Home My WebLink AboutCC Resolution 370311 RESOLUTION NO. , J RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF BILL OF SALE AND CREDIT TO PACIFIC GAS & ELECTRIC COMPANY FOR ELIMINATION OF $2.00 PER MONTH POLE CHARGE WHEREAS the PACIFIC GAS & ELECTRIC COMPANY is the owner of one hundred six (106) street lights located in the City of San Rafael, which street lights were installed at the request of said City and by reason,thereof, the PACIFIC GAS & ELECTRIC COMPANY is charging the City a charge of $2.00 per month for each of said street lights; and WHEREAS if the City pays PACIFIC GAS & ELECTRIC COMPANY the sum of $11,478.00, PACIFIC GAS & ELECTRIC COMPANY will eliminate the $2.00 per month pole charge referred to above; and WHEREAS the City owns 278 street lights and is desirous of selling the same to the PACIFIC GAS & ELECTRIC COMPANY for the sum of $15,681.00; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of -San Rafael are authorized and directed to execute and de- liver for and on behalf of the City of San Rafael that certain BILL OF SALE, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference upon the payment to the City of the sum of $15,681.00 as follows: $4,203.00 in cash and a credit of $11,478.00 for the elimina- tion of the $2.00 per month pole charge on the 106 street lights owned by the PACIFIC GAS & ELECTRIC COMPANY as described above.
