RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ORDER
VACATION OF PARTS OF PUBLIC STREETS
WHEREAS, it appears that the parts of McCoy Road
and Bret Harte Road hereinafter described are unnecessary
for present or prospective public purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows:
1. That the City Council of the City of San
Rafael hereby elects to proceed under the provisions of the
STREET VACATION ACT of 1941 of the State of California;
2. That the City Council of the City of San
Rafael hereby declares its intention to vacate the parts
of McCoy Road and Bret Harte Road which are hereinafter
described;
3. That Monday the _ 6TR day of JANUARY ,
1969,, at eight o'clock p.m., in the Council Chambers at
the City Hall, in the City of San Rafael, State of California,
is hereby fixed as the time and place for hearing all persons
interested in or objecting to the said proposed vacations.
4. That the Department of Public Works of the
City of:San Rafael shall post conspicuously notices of
Street vacation along the lines of the parts of said public
streets proposed to be vacated, which notices shall be
posted not more than three hundred feet apart but at least
three notices shall be posted as to said parts of streets
proposed to be vacated. The said notice shall state time
and place of hearing as hereinabove provided, and the adoption

of the within resolution of intention.
5.- That said parts of streets proposed to be
vacated are described on Exhibits "A" and "B", which are
attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference,
as though set forth in full.
61. That a map or plan showing said parts of
streets proposed to be vacated are on file in the office of
the City Clerk of the City of San Rafael, at the City Hall,
San Rafael, California.
I, W. C. CORNWELL, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and
regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of
the Council of the City of San Rafael, held on the 16th
day of December 1968 by the following vote,
to -wit:
