RESOLUTION OF INTENTION
WHEREAS, The County of Marin will soon vacate the old Court House;
and
WHEREAS, there is need for improved parking facilities and the avail-
ability of the Court House Square gives an opportunity to
create such facilities, in conjunction with the anticipated
re -development of the Square,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of San Rafael declares
its intention to do whatever is necessary.to cause such
improvements to be constructed,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said City of San Rafael assures its cooper-
ation to cause proper development of the Square to maintain
and improve the effectiveness of the business community.
I, W. CLIFFORD CORNWELL, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a
Regular
meeting of the
City Council of said City held on Monday the 16th
day of December 1968, by the following vote, to -wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Baar, Barbier, Jensen, Miskimen and Mayor
Bettini
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None
