RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF SAN RAFAEL ORDER-
ING CONSOLIDATION OF THE MARIN JUNIOR COLLEGE
DISTRICT GOVERNING BOARD MEMBER ELECTION WITH THE
SAN RAFAEL CITY ELECTION TO BE HELD ON APRIL 15, 1969.
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the Marin Junior College
District has ordered a Governing Board Member Election for April 15,
1969; and
WHEREAS, the San Rafael City Election is to be held on
the same date; and
WHEREAS, a portion of the Marin Junior College District
lies within the boundaries of the San Rafael City Election; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 1333 of the California
Education Code, said Board of Trustees has, by resolution transmitted
to the San Rafael City Council, requested this Council to approve
and order consolidation of the San Rafael City Election with the
Marin Junior College District Governing Board Member Election on
April 15, 1969;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the San Rafael City
Council as follows:
1. That it is hereby approved and ordered that the Marin
Junior College District Governing Board Member Election be, and the
same hereby is, consolidated with the San Rafael City Election to
be held on April 15, 1969, in accordance with the request of said
School District.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the San Rafael
City Council held on the ?0th day of
January , 1969, by
the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN Barbier, Jensen, Miskimen and Mayor Bettini
NOES: COUNCILMEN None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN None
