RESOLUTION OF COMMENDATION
FOR
WILLIAM C. HERUP
WHEREAS, for more than a quarter century WILLIAM C. HERUP has
generously devoted his time and efforts to serve the
City of San Rafael and his fellowman; and
WHEREAS, with quiet dignity and an unrelenting desire, he has
further assisted in guiding the growth and development
of this community by assuming the responsibility of
City Councilman for eight years,
Member of San Rafael Fire Commission for
eleven years,
Member of the Grand Jury for two terms'.
Director of the Marin Municipal Water
District for twenty-six years.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL to commend
and thank WILLIAM C. HERUP for outstanding service and
extend to him sincere and good wishes for well-being in
future years.

certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and
regularly introduced and adopted at the regular meeting
of the Council of said City held on Monday the 3rd day
of February, 1969 by the following vote, to -wit:
