RES OLUTION AFFIRMING THE RECOMMEN DATION OF THE PLANNING COMM ISSION OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAE L IN CON NECTION WITH THE RENAM ING OF HAR BOR WAY TO LEITH LANE.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of San
Rafael, on the 13th day of October, 1970, recommended the re
naming of Harbor Way to Leith Lane;
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of San
Rafael determined that the public necessity, convenience and
general welfare required the change of street name, and that
the change of street name wi 11 eliminate confusion;
WHEREAS, the matter came on regularly for considera
tion by the City Council of the City of San Rafael on the 19th
day of October , 1970;
WHEREAS, evidence, both oral and documentary, was pro
duced and good cause appearing therefor;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED that Harbor Way be re
named to Leith Lane, said street name change shall be effective
October 19th , 1970.

gularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the
